The AFM70 is a Class A hybrid monophonic power amplifier 
that incorporates all the core principles of Riviera amplifiers: 
-Zero Overall Feedback
-Hybrid design (valves for voltage amplification
-solid-state devices for power)
-Pure Class A operation.

The AFM70 delivers 70W into 8 ohms in Class A (140W into 4 ohms)
Voltage amplification is provided by a pure triode operating in Class A.
The power section employs 12 devices capable of dissipating 150W each.
The power section’s power supply, which uses an oversized transformer of over 400VA, makes use of a refined pigreco filter and distributed capacitance; the total filter capacity is over 100,000uF.
The deliberate absence of current-limiting systems ensures the amplifier’s stability even when dealing with complex loads.
The AFM70’s refinement and driving capabilities make it suitable for use in both single and multi-amplified systems.
